On the dealer

PureTime is a real dealer, not a scam. Their warranty is handled better than most here: they publish 6 months on all watches, and they repair free and ship the watch back to you free, and you pay only the postage to send it in. Most sellers make you pay the postage in both directions, which quietly makes a small repair not worth claiming.

The problem is what happens if you simply do not want the watch. Their own customer service page rules that out: items are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and not returnable for store credit. Paired with a 24 hour QC window that treats silence as approval, the photographs become the entire transaction.

They also offer 5 percent for Bitcoin while warning, on the same page, that crypto cannot be charged back. Credit them for the warning and decline the discount. Shipping runs 7 to 10 business days.

Our side of the counter: 24 months on every part of it, put in writing, a return is opened as a case and argued on the facts, not blocked by a policy line, and no clock on your QC reply. The long answer.

Warren Ashby, buyer and tester. Warren orders from the shops in this market with his own money, opens the parcel on camera and records the parts the listing skipped. He runs a shop of his own. That conflict sits at the bottom of the page rather than out of sight. Last checked 2026-08-31.
